Tracy Ponce Earns OCU Award

Oklahoma City University nursing student Tracy Ponce from Amarillo, Texas, received the Outstanding Service Award during the Kramer School of Nursing's pinning ceremony last semester.

Ponce plans to stay in Oklahoma for grad school as well as working at Saint Anthony's Hospital. When asked why this award was meaningful to her she said, "giving back to the community is important because it's where I'm from. It's where I grew up, I want to better the place I live by helping the people of my community."
