William Hoffman Earns OCU Academic Award

Oklahoma City University nursing student William Hoffman from Edmond received the Heart of Nursing Award during the Kramer School of Nursing's pinning ceremony last semester.

The award is given to students who demonstrate caring and compassion, patient advocacy and enthusiasm about becoming a nurse.

Hoffman plans to continue his education in the Kramer School of Nursing through the DNP program. When asked how he felt about the award he said, "I am very honored to receive what I consider to be a prestigious award." He attributes his success to many of the faculty at the Kramer School of Nursing.
